The Office of the Attorney General is committed to making sure our children are able to grow up in a safe community. As part of this commitment, we have established the Youth Advocacy Initiative, a project that focuses on juvenile justice and youth advocacy. In addition, we are working on a number of programs designed to keep kids safe including "Surf Safe: Navigating the Hidden Dangers of the Internet," and a teen dating violence education campaign

The National CASA Association mission is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are involved in the juvenile courts.
They work with state and local CASA and volunteer guardian ad litem programs to promote and support quality volunteer advocacy to help assure each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
In addition to providing leadership for CASA programs across the country (also known as Volunteer Guardian ad litem Programs), the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association stages an annual conference, publishes a quarterly newsletter, and promotes CASA through public relations efforts. National CASA offers consultation and resources that help start CASA programs and provides vital assistance to established programs.
United Way's mission is "to strengthen our community through leadership in mobilizing resources to meet the human care needs in Champaign County." Champaign County CASA is a community partner with United Way.
